Charles Osborne (died 1817)
Charles Osborne (1759-5 September 1817), was an Irish politician and judge.
Osborne was the son of Sir William Osborne, 8th Baronet and Elizabeth Christmas. He sat as a Member of Parliament in the Irish House of Commons for Carysfort between 1790 and 1800 and served as a Justice of the King's Bench for Ireland between 1802 and 1817.
Osborne married on 14 August 1793 his cousin Alicia Christmas (d. 16 May 1847), daughter of Thomas Christmas, Member of Parliament for Whitfield, and had two children:
- Elizabeth Osborne (d. 7 February 1833), married on 1 January 1823 General Sir Michael Creagh (d. 14 September 1860), who was invested as a Knight of the Hanoverian Order (KH), and had one daughter
- Major William Osborne (May 1794 - 13 July 1867), who gained the rank of Major in the service of the 71st Regiment, married on 7 July 1831 Helen Colt, daughter of John Hamiliton Colt, of Gartsherrie, without issue
